Turkey's Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and Great Britain's Minister of Defense John Healey have signed a contract concerning the technical and logistical support for Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. This agreement is intended for the maintenance and operation of the aircraft.
Redaksiya reports that in a statement from the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, it was stated that cooperation issues in the defense sector were discussed during the meeting held in the capital, London, between Minister Güler, who was on an official visit to Great Britain, and his British counterpart Healey. The statement confirmed that a contract for the procurement of aircraft, equipment, and ammunition within the framework of the Eurofighter Typhoon project was signed in October 2025.
It was noted that an agreement was reached to sign the technical and logistical support contract for the maintenance and operation of the aircraft today. The statement emphasized that the parties expressed their will to further strengthen cooperation in the future.
