Samsung's thinnest smartphone in recent years, the 5.8mm thick Galaxy S25 Edge, will not have a successor in the near future.
Redaksiya reports that the model, which had a significantly low battery capacity (3900 mAh) for modern standards due to its slim body and therefore did not achieve sales success, will currently remain as a single prototype, according to company official Won-Jun Choi.
Choi stated that they have not yet started working on a successor to the Galaxy S25 Edge. He also noted that there is no definitive decision yet for the successor of the Galaxy Z TriFold, which stands out with its triple-folding design, and that these devices are in the evaluation stage.
