Israel silently and urgently supplied the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a compact UAV detection system called “Spectro” during the recent wave of Iranian missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks. This step aimed to strengthen the UAE's defense capabilities.
The editorial office, citing FT, reports that the system in question was hastily delivered to enhance the UAE's early warning capabilities. This delivery operation was carried out alongside the deployment of Israel's “Iron Beam” laser air defense system.
The provided support package included early warning systems capable of detecting unmanned aerial vehicles from a distance of approximately 20 kilometers, “Iron Dome” batteries, and Israeli personnel on the ground. Additionally, real-time intelligence sharing was also part of this cooperation.
