The latest season of Netflix's popular "Formula 1: Drive to Survive" documentary series has been released today, and US-based Apple TV subscribers can now watch the entire season thanks to a deal announced yesterday.
Redaksiya reports that Apple TV, beginning a five-year partnership, is now the home for Formula 1 broadcasts in the US. The first race is scheduled for next week, on March 7th. Ahead of the season's start, Apple has struck a unique deal with Netflix.
As we reported yesterday, Apple will be airing the latest season of Netflix's popular "Drive to Survive" series, and in return, an upcoming F1 race will be broadcast on Netflix. In both cases, the content will be available simultaneously on Apple TV and Netflix. Today, the new season of "Formula 1: Drive to Survive" is officially available for Apple TV subscribers. You can watch the entire eight-part season here via the Apple TV app.
The new episodes cover the 2025 F1 season and are an excellent way to get acquainted with what's happening in F1 ahead of the first 2026 race next week. If you are watching "Drive to Survive" on Apple TV, you will still notice the standard Netflix intro at the beginning of the series. Additionally, a small, persistent Netflix logo is present in the top right corner throughout the entire duration. Content sharing between streaming services is not an everyday occurrence, but this deal makes a lot of sense at a time when Apple is making a big push to promote the new F1 season.
