The new Dell XPS 16 laptop, showcased at the CES exhibition in Las Vegas in January, particularly stood out with its display featuring a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. This technology significantly reduces energy consumption when the screen does not require high speeds.
Redaksiya reports that during tests conducted by Notebookcheck, the Dell XPS 16 model, equipped with an LG Display screen and the new Intel Panther Lake processor, was determined to be the most efficient laptop tested to date. In idle mode, this laptop with a Core Ultra 325 processor consumed only 1.5 watts of power. Furthermore, with its 70 watt-hour battery, it managed to sustain almost 27 hours of continuous internet browsing.
While these results are significantly lower than the 99.5Wh capacity batteries Dell uses in some of its models, they confirm the device's energy efficiency. This offers users the possibility of long working periods and provides a convenient solution for mobile use.
