Anthropic is gradually starting to restrict its subscription services. This time, the company has focused its attention primarily on corporate users, specifically customers paying for more than 150 subscriptions. This step is regarded as the beginning of fundamental changes in the company's overall subscription policy.
The editorial board reports that the company is reviewing its pricing policy and eliminating various subscription tiers. Currently, only the basic $20 subscription package is retained, and any usage exceeding these limits will be calculated at API prices. Furthermore, discounts for corporate users on the purchase of the first "n" tokens are also being removed.
This new pricing policy will increase costs for active users by 2-3 times. The shortage of computing power at Anthropic is at a critical level, and there is little likelihood of this situation improving soon. Therefore, individual subscription limits are not expected to improve in the near future.
