Kimi Antonelli has made history as the youngest pole-sitter in Formula 1 history. He secured victory over his teammate George Russell at the Chinese Grand Prix.

According to Redaksiya, Russell struggled with a gearbox issue in his car, which threatened to relegate him to 10th on the grid. Antonelli, however, finished 0.222 seconds ahead of the Italian driver Russell.

The Mercedes team managed to repair Russell's car in time for the final lap. He used this last chance to overtake Ferrari drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. McLaren's Oscar Piastri took third place, ahead of world champion Lando Norris.
