Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky participated in a press conference held in Munich on February 14th. This meeting served as a platform for important messages regarding the course and future of the war at a critical juncture for Ukraine. Zelensky's speeches aimed to draw the international community's attention to the situation in Ukraine and to discuss ways to resolve the conflict.

Redaksiya, citing EADaily, reports that the Ukrainian leader's main statements are as follows: "We hope for the end of the war this year." This statement reflects the Ukrainian government's hope and efforts to bring the conflict to a swift end. According to Zelensky, various diplomatic and military steps are being taken to achieve this goal. Furthermore, "After today's meeting with Rubio, there will be talks with Vitkoff and Kushner regarding peace negotiations." This indicates that the Ukrainian leadership is continuing its communication with the parties involved in the peace negotiation process.

According to Zelensky, the Russian Federation is changing the head of its negotiation group, appointing Medinsky. This appears to be an attempt to delay decision-making. The US is offering security guarantees for a period of 15 years, but Ukraine wants at least 30 years. Throughout the war, Russia has taken approximately 7,000 Ukrainian soldiers prisoner, while Ukraine has taken over 4,000 Russian soldiers prisoner. If the Russian Federation agrees, there is an opportunity for an "all for all" exchange.
