The application deadline for the TEKNOFEST 2026 technology competitions in the field of technology has been extended.
Redaksiya reports that the application deadline for technology competitions within the framework of TEKNOFEST 2026, organized primarily by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, has been extended until February 28.
TEKNOFEST 2026, the world's largest aviation, space, and technology festival, will be held in Şanlıurfa, a city distinguished by its thousand-year history and deep-rooted cultural heritage. The festival will take place at GAP Airport from September 30 to October 4.
In a statement from the T3 Foundation, it was announced that the 2026 technology competitions will be held across 51 main categories and 132 sub-categories, providing opportunities for young people to realize their innovative projects. The competitions, organized in numerous fields including aviation, space, defense, artificial intelligence, robotics, energy, and environment, will be open to participants of various ages and educational levels.
The statement noted that the competitions, which cater to a broad participant profile from primary school to master's level, aim to develop young people's engineering and entrepreneurial skills, strengthen teamwork culture, and encourage them to design projects that offer solutions to real-world problems. Emphasizing that the competitions, implemented to develop national technologies, offer significant experience and visibility to young people, it was stated that all young people interested in technology and wishing to be among the engineers and entrepreneurs of the future can apply for TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions until February 28.
