However, by the end of the day, a sharp decline was observed, with the price of a kilogram of standard gold falling by 8.7 percent to 6.5 million lira. This is a notable difference compared to the closing price of 7.120 million lira the previous day, Wednesday.
Redaksiya reports that the total transaction volume for gold on the Gold and Jewelry Trade Platform (KMKTP) amounted to 38 billion 475 million 353 thousand 603.31 lira. The quantity of gold traded on this platform was 5,991.89 kilograms. The total transaction volume for all metals reached a higher figure of 39 billion 123 million 624 thousand 615.57 lira.
Among the most active participants in the gold exchange today were Uğuras Kıymetli Madenler, Vakıf Katılım Bankası, Türkiye İş Bankası, Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası, and Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası. These institutions acted as key players ensuring the market's liquidity and activity.
