The process of the PKK handing over its weapons began today in the Casene cave, located in Iraq's Sulaymaniyah region. In addition to high-level representatives of the organization, participants from political and official circles are also involved in the process.
The editorial office reports that, alongside the PKK leadership, the ceremony is attended by Kurdistan Democratic Party leader Masoud Barzani, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan head Nechirvan Barzani, PUK officials, and representatives from the Iraqi Ministry of Interior. At the same time, co-chairs of Turkey's DEM Party also participated in the ceremony.
It has been reported that footage of the weapons handover will be presented to the public by Turkey's CNN Türk television channel after 13:00 Baku time.
