The discussion of projects included in the 2026 state budget package continues in the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) in the first reading.
The editorial office reports that 8 relevant draft laws and resolutions were also included in the agenda of today's plenary session of the parliament.
It should be noted that next year's budget revenues are expected to be 38 billion 609 million manats (0.7% more than the approved forecast for 2025), and expenditures are expected to be 41 billion 703.6 million manats (+0.7%).
As a result, a deficit of 3 billion 94.6 million manats should arise in the state budget. This is 1.4% more compared to the annual figure.
In 2026, Azerbaijan's consolidated budget revenues are expected to be 44 billion 969.4 million manats, and expenditures are expected to be 48 billion 839.3 million manats.
These figures are 2.3% and 2.5% higher, respectively, compared to the approved forecasts for 2025.
Ultimately, a deficit of 3 billion 869.3 million manats should arise in the consolidated budget. This is 5.2% more compared to the annual figure.
