The internet outage in Iran has now entered its 57th day. The NetBlocks platform reported that the government-imposed nationwide internet shutdown has been ongoing for eight weeks since February 28.
The editorial office reports that NetBlocks noted the current outage has already reached its 57th day, exceeding 1344 hours. This prolonged disruption creates serious difficulties for the country's population and paralyzes daily life.
NetBlocks added that this outage silences the voices of Iranian citizens, separates families and friends, and also harms the country's economy. The restriction of internet access negatively impacts social and economic activities and weakens the country's international relations.
