Hamas announced that it has given an official response, through mediators, to the Gaza peace plan presented by US President Donald Trump. The movement has agreed to the release of all Israeli prisoners and the return of the bodies of those who died.
Redaksiya reports that Hamas has also stated its agreement to hand over the administration of Gaza to an independent committee composed of Palestinian technocrats. With this step, temporary governance in the region could be carried out under international supervision.
The movement's statement emphasized: “We announce our agreement to the release of all prisoners – both living and bodies – based on Trump's proposal, in a way that will ensure a cessation of the war and a full withdrawal.”
