Hanwha Aerospace Romania has laid the foundation for a new armored vehicle production facility. This facility, to be built in the Petrești region of Dâmbovița county, will be the company's first production site in Europe.
Redaksiya reports that this complex, named Hanwha Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence (H-ACE) Europe, will lay the groundwork for a long-term partnership with Romania and support the country's goals of expanding domestic defense production.
The construction of the new plant aims to strengthen Hanwha Aerospace's access to the European market and solidify its position in the continent's defense industry. This step is part of the company's global expansion strategy, focused on increasing cooperation with various countries.
The opening of the facility is also an indicator of the Romanian government's support for the defense sector and the creation of new jobs that will contribute to the country's economic development. This will also positively impact regional security by enhancing Romania's defense capabilities.
