Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli sharply condemned Israel's attacks on various regions of Syria.
The editorial office reports that he stated Israel's direct intervention in the already fragile stability and peace environment of the neighboring Syrian Arab Republic, shortly after PKK terrorists opened fire on July 11, was not a coincidence.
According to Bahçeli, Israel's incitement of conflict between Druze and Arab tribes, and its bombing of Damascus using this tension, shows that it has descended to a level even lower than terrorist organizations.
He added that "Zionist savagery" constitutes sabotage against Turkey's and the region's goal of being cleared of terror, and attempts to establish a corridor of chaos extending from southern to northern Syria through violent means.
Devlet Bahçeli also called the planned corridor extending north from the Suwayda region a "devil's corridor," stating that it serves the fragmentation of Syria and the targeting of Turkey.
