The FEWS-U electronic warfare complex, developed by ASELSAN and integrated into the Bayraktar KIZILELMA unmanned combat aircraft, has successfully completed its first flight test. This significant achievement marks a new phase in the development of unmanned aviation technologies.

Redaksiya reports that the FEWS-U electronic warfare (EW) self-protection system, developed by ASELSAN, successfully completed its first flight in February 2026 after being integrated into the Bayraktar KIZILELMA platform. This flight test demonstrated FEWS-U's capability to withstand the complex radar and missile threats faced by next-generation unmanned combat aircraft.

The FEWS-U system aims to provide self-protection for unmanned aircraft against enemy electronic warfare threats. This system utilizes various technologies to detect, mitigate, or deceive enemy radars. Its integration into an advanced platform like the Bayraktar KIZILELMA will further enhance its effectiveness and role on the battlefield.

This successful test once again confirms Turkey's leading position in the field of unmanned technologies. The deployment of the FEWS-U system together with the Bayraktar KIZILELMA will significantly strengthen the defense capabilities of unmanned combat aircraft and play a crucial role in future military operations.
