The results of a new joint survey conducted by Reuters and Ipsos show that a large majority of Americans want the United States to quickly end its involvement in the Iran war. This desire remains even if certain military objectives are not fully achieved.

The editorial office reports that approximately two-thirds of the survey participants, nearly 66% of people, supported a swift end to the war. In contrast, only 27% of respondents stated that they favored continuing the war until all objectives were achieved.

These results reflect a significant dissatisfaction and a demand for change regarding war policy concerning Iran within the US public. A substantial portion of citizens prioritizes a swift conclusion to the conflict, regardless of strategic objectives.
