In a statement published on its social media account, the German Embassy in Tehran announced that tensions continue in Iran and the surrounding region. The statement was published under the heading "Renewed urgent call for German citizens in Iran to leave the country."
Redaksiya reports that the possibility of a further deterioration of the security situation and the occurrence of military clashes has not been ruled out. For this reason, it was decided to re-remind German citizens to leave Iran.
The statement noted that in the event of increased tensions, the Foreign Ministry and the German Embassy in Tehran would be able to offer "almost no support" for departure from the country, and therefore, German citizens were urged to use available opportunities to leave the country.
