US Senator Bernie Sanders, representing the state of Vermont, has come into the spotlight with a new statement. He emphasized that the US should not accept children suffering from hunger in Palestine and the continuation of this situation.
According to reports, Sanders announced that a vote would be held in the US Senate tomorrow to stop arms sales related to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to Sanders, “The US should not support a government that starves children to death”.
Sanders also demanded limiting arms supplies and for the US to demonstrate an independent diplomatic approach to prevent the humanitarian situation in Palestine from deteriorating further.
