The final documents have been published from the historic meeting held in Washington on August 8 between US President Donald Trump, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The editorial office reports that the disclosed documents are regarded as the beginning of a new stage of peace in the South Caucasus. Among them are the following:
- Joint Declaration on the Results of the Washington Meeting of the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia;
- Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a Strategic Working Group for the Purpose of Preparing a Charter on Strategic Cooperation between the US Government and the Azerbaijani Government;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Partnership for Strengthening the Potential of "Paths to Peace" between the US Government and the Armenian Government;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductor Innovation Partnership between the US Government and the Armenian Government;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Energy Security Partnership between the US Government and the Armenian Government.
