Hamas sources reported that the organization is not allowed to establish either a political or military headquarters in Turkey. High-ranking representatives are also not allowed to stay in Turkey for more than three months. Even the slightest deviation from the agreements can result in the immediate expulsion of Hamas representatives from the country.
The editorial board, citing Ynet News, reports that comments published in Israeli media emphasize that Turkey is presented as a “more dangerous actor than Iran” in the region. The articles noted that the existing relations between Ankara and Hamas are causing increasing concern for Israel.
According to sources, this approach could lead to a further hardening of Israel's political course against Turkey.
