According to Bloomberg, Turkey is holding consultations with the US to ensure the local production of some parts of combat aircraft manufactured by Boeing and Lockheed Martin, with the aim of balancing aircraft purchases exceeding $10 billion.

The goal is for Turkish companies to return to the F-35 fighter production program, and at the same time, to acquire new F-16 Viper aircraft and their engines.
