The Tunisian President has reacted strongly to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
The editorial office reports that President Kais Saied, while receiving US President Donald Trump's special envoy in Tunisia, presented him with photos of Palestinian children who lost their lives due to starvation in Gaza. “These images are proof of a crime committed against humanity. Is this international law?” — he addressed the envoy harshly.
During the meeting, President Saied called the tragedy in Gaza a horrific crime against the backdrop of the international community's silence and emphasized that international law has turned into a mechanism that serves only the powerful.
The Tunisian side called on the United Nations and other international organizations to immediately intervene in the humanitarian drama unfolding in Gaza.
