A special group operating within the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is alleged to have removed the name of US President Donald Trump from documents related to billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
According to reports, based on information released by Bloomberg TV, during the analysis of documents linked to Epstein's child exploitation network, Trump's name was removed from the archives, citing that it should be protected under the status of a "private citizen." For the same reason, the names of several other "important" individuals were also censored from the documents.
Approximately 100,000 documents were analyzed, and some reportedly contained records of past connections between Trump and Epstein. However, much of this information was not shared with the public, as it was deemed "unverified rumor."
According to the information, FBI leadership gave specific instructions to agents regarding which parts of these documents should be disclosed. The main purpose of these instructions was to protect certain names.
Democrats represented in the US Senate Judiciary Committee, however, called on the Department of Justice regarding the matter, demanding that a special document containing statements about Trump be immediately released to the public.
So far, neither the FBI, nor the White House, nor the Department of Justice has issued an official statement regarding these allegations. However, the submission of these allegations for Congressional debate has led to high-level individuals connected to the Epstein case resurfacing in the public discourse.
