US President Donald Trump stopped his press conference held at the White House and left the meeting room due to an urgent call from Foreign Minister Marco Rubio. Trump stated that the US is “very close” to a peace agreement in the Middle East, especially regarding Gaza.

The editorial office reports that while answering journalists' questions during his speech, Trump said, “We are very close to a deal in the Middle East. They will need me very soon.” He also noted that the US had “ended seven wars and the eighth was nearing its end.”

President Trump did not rule out a possible visit to the Middle East: “I might go to Gaza, I’m thinking about it. I plan to visit the region either before or immediately after the release of the hostages,” he stated.
