US President Donald Trump announced that one of the largest trade agreements in history has been reached with the European Union.
The editorial office reports that Trump spoke about this at a press conference held after a meeting with European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen. According to him, the customs duty to be applied to goods imported into the US from EU countries will be a minimum of 15%.
In addition, Trump stated that EU countries will purchase military equipment and energy resources worth 150 billion dollars from the US.
Trump assessed this agreement as a great victory for the US economy and noted that this agreement will better serve Washington's interests in the trade balance with Europe.
