In a number of cases, it will be permissible to conclude fixed-term employment contracts with students undergoing training and foreigners.
This is reflected in the Law on Amendments to the Labor Code, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the law, fixed-term employment contracts will also be permissible in the following cases:
when students undergo production training and internships;
when foreigners and stateless persons are engaged in paid labor activities in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan based on a work permit.
