Saudi Arabia has officially informed the US side that it supports the deployment of Syrian government forces to the city of Suwayda.
The editorial staff reports that this position has not changed despite Israel's objections. Riyadh announced that it supports this step taken by the Damascus government to restore stability in the region and prevent armed conflicts.
According to diplomatic sources, Saudi Arabia considers this decision an important step in terms of restoring unified state control in Syria and continuing dialogue between the Druze community and the government.
