The Russian Armed Forces carried out a drone attack last night on a SOCAR-owned fuel depot located in Ukraine's Odesa region.

The editorial office reports that the attack was carried out using Iranian-made "Shahed" kamikaze drones, resulting in a fire and damage to a diesel pipeline. Earlier reports indicate that four SOCAR employees were seriously injured and hospitalized as a result of the incident.

This is the second Russian attack targeting energy infrastructure shortly after the first trilateral summit held in the US. In previous days, a compressor station located on the Trans-Balkan gas route in the Odesa region was also attacked.

These events constitute an open military provocation targeting Azerbaijan-Ukraine energy cooperation and must be sharply criticized by the international community.
