Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the position of Western states regarding the Ukraine war in his recent speech. He noted that Western media and political circles systematically spread propaganda claiming that Russia started the war.
The editorial office reports that Putin emphasized these claims do not reflect the truth. According to him, Moscow's actions in the direction of Ukraine are aimed at protecting national security interests, and the accusations spread by the West are part of an information campaign conducted to weaken Russia's position.
Putin added that such an approach further increases tension in international relations and does not serve to find real solutions. He declared that the Russian side will continue to be resolute in defending its interests.
