Within the context of the Ukraine war, strikes on Russian territory, especially those targeting oil product exports, are being closely analyzed by military experts. These strikes aim to weaken military infrastructure and complicate the enemy's military operations.
As reported by Redaksiya, Pavel Narozhny, founder of the "Reactive Mail" Charity Organization and a military expert, emphasized the significance of these strikes during an appearance on Radio NV. Narozhny specifically drew attention to the strikes on the port of Novorossiysk. Novorossiysk is a crucial port for the export of oil products, oil, and other goods. According to the expert, despite the port being well-defended, the strikes are hitting their targets and explosions are occurring.
Narozhny also touched upon the strikes on the Redkinsky Experimental Chemical Plant, located in the Tver region of the Russian Federation, which produces special chemical components, including fuel for the aviation and defense industries, particularly for cruise and ballistic missiles. He noted that the production of fuel for ballistic missiles is a high-tech process. Emphasizing that this process takes a long time and carries a risk of explosion, Narozhny stated that any strike would inevitably slow down the production of engines for ballistic missiles. The publication "Militarniy" also notes that this plant is of critical importance for Russia's missile program, as it synthesizes diesel fuel (T-10) required for the operation of engines of strategic cruise missiles such as X-101, X-555, and "Kalibr."
The expert noted that solid-fuel missiles are not only ballistic missiles but can also be used for air defense systems, multiple rocket launch systems, and artillery shells. According to UNIAN, on the night of February 7th, drones attacked a strategically important plant of the Russian military-industrial complex in the Tver region, resulting in a fire. This plant produces chemical components for the aviation and defense industries. Specifically, approximately one and a half tons of diesel fuel are required to fill one X-101 missile, therefore, the stoppage of production lines will directly affect the enemy's ability to prepare for new mass attacks. Narozhny, speaking about the recent strikes against Russia, emphasized that the main goal is to cause serious problems for the Russian army in terms of supply and logistics. Pavel Narozhny also noted that the oil terminal in Novorossiysk is of interest to Ukraine.
