Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf announced that the US and Israel have violated the ceasefire agreement. He emphasized that in such a situation, bilateral ceasefires or negotiations are illogical.
The editorial office reports that the Iranian side states that its deep historical distrust towards the US stems from that country's repeated violations of its commitments. It is noted that this is, unfortunately, a recurring situation. As clearly stated by US President Donald Trump, the Islamic Republic of Iran's 10-point proposal is "a workable basis for negotiations" and the main framework for these talks. However, before negotiations even began, 3 points of this proposal were violated.
According to the first point, non-compliance with the ceasefire was observed in Lebanese territory. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also explicitly stated this commitment, emphasizing the importance of declaring "an immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon and other regions."
In the second point, the provision prohibiting any new violation of Iranian airspace was breached. An unmanned aerial vehicle that entered Iranian airspace was destroyed in Lar, Fars province.
The renunciation of Iran's right to enrichment, as stipulated in the sixth point of the framework agreement, is noted as the third violation.
Thus, before negotiations even began, the "workable basis for negotiations" was clearly violated. This situation raises serious questions about the future of the negotiation process, the speaker stated.
