Russian President Vladimir Putin touched upon the issue of Ukraine's security in talks with US leader Donald Trump.
The editorial office reports that, according to Axios, Putin mentioned the China option as one of the possible choices for security guarantees. Sources familiar with the matter stated that the Russian leader confirmed his readiness to discuss security guarantees for Kyiv.
Previously, Donald Trump had noted in a conversation with European politicians that Russia would not object to the US providing security guarantees to Ukraine, but this would not be carried out through NATO. Bloomberg reported on that statement.
