Russian President Vladimir Putin has made headlines with his latest statement regarding Ukraine.
The newsroom reports that the head of state stated in his declaration that Russia is reclaiming territories in Ukraine that belong to it, not to someone else: “We are reclaiming what is ours there, not someone else’s. Our army continues to advance along the front line.”
Putin also said that the main goal of these operations is to ensure Russia's security. He described the Ukraine war as a geopolitical necessity, stating, “Russia is acting to protect its sovereignty and future.”
It should be noted that the Russian army has been conducting active military operations in various directions of the front in recent weeks and claims to have seized control of a number of territories in eastern Ukraine.
