Russian President Vladimir Putin, at the Valdai Forum, likened French leader Emmanuel Macron to Napoleon, stating that he "wants to experience the same fate once again." He sharply criticized Western policy and outlined Russia's position.

The editorial office reports that in his speech, Putin recalled that Russia had applied to join NATO twice but was rejected on both occasions: “Will Russia attack NATO? It's impossible to believe such a senseless claim.” He also stated that Russia is currently the “undisputed record holder” in terms of the number of sanctions imposed.

Putin emphasized that Moscow has always responded swiftly to threats against its sovereignty and will not back down in the future: “Never provoke us. The consequences for globalist expansionists and their servants in Kyiv are clear. Virtually all NATO countries are in a state of war with Russia.” He jokingly added: “I won't fly drones to Denmark anymore, I promise. We don't have drones that can fly to Lisbon.”

The Russian President also claimed that “gender terrorism” is being forcibly imposed on children in Europe. According to him, the number of people wanting to flee Europe due to moral values is increasing: “People are turning to us to save their children.” In his speech, Putin also stated that Gaza has “turned into the world's largest children's cemetery.”
