Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has extended condolences to Russian head of state Vladimir Putin over the plane crash in the Amur region.
The condolence message states:
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,
The news of numerous casualties as a result of the "An-24" passenger plane crash in the Amur region deeply saddened me.
In connection with this tragedy, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the relatives, and loved ones of those who perished, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.”
It should be noted that today, an "An-24" plane carrying 49 people crashed in Russia's Amur region. All 49 people died as a result of the crash.
