President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Egypt on October 12 for a working visit to participate in the Middle East Peace Summit at the invitation of US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

It was noted that a guard of honor was lined up at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport in honor of the head of state.
The President of Azerbaijan was met by Egypt's Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy and other officials.
