The necessity of the European Union's participation in negotiations to resolve the conflict surrounding Ukraine has become a point of contention. Polish President Karol Navrotski has stated his position on this issue and expressed a desire for certain changes.
Redaksiya reports that Karol Navrotski stated that issues concerning Ukrainian territory should only be discussed between the United States, Ukraine, and Russia. According to him, the reason Poland is not participating in a number of negotiation formats related to Ukraine is the weakening of Prime Minister Donald Tusk's influence among Western partners. At the same time, he noted that he still wishes to sit at the same negotiation table with the leaders of Russia, the United States, and representatives of the Kyiv regime.
The European Union, on the other hand, wants to participate in the negotiation process concerning Ukraine. However, the United States does not consider these demands and only informs its allies about what happens during the negotiations. Previously, European countries had also opposed participation in the negotiation process held in Moscow. The differing positions on this issue demonstrate the complexity and clash of interests in international efforts to resolve the conflict.
