Mass protests against President Donald Trump have been held in the US capital, Washington, and New York's famous Times Square. Thousands of people poured into the streets with slogans like “Trump must go now!”
The editorial office reports that Robert Reich, a professor at Berkeley University and former Labour Party minister, also spoke among the protest participants. During the rally, he declared, “We are not a monarchy! Let the world hear clearly today: America will never be a country with a king.”
Protests also continued simultaneously in Washington. In the demonstrations in the capital, participants raised Palestinian flags, protesting both the conflicts in the Middle East and Trump's policies. The demonstrators voiced demands for democracy and equal rights in the USA.
