The Pentagon is asking Congress to officially change the name of the Ministry of Defense to “Ministry of War.” This change is estimated to cost approximately 52 million dollars.
The editorial office reports that this proposal was put forward following an executive order issued by US President Donald Trump last September. This order brought the issue of changing the ministry's name to the agenda.
The aforementioned 52 million dollar amount will cover administrative and logistical costs related to the name change. These funds are allocated for documentation, changing of signs, and other related work.
