This situation has significantly strengthened his economic position, making him the country's wealthiest individual.
In the list of the wealthiest Russians, V. Potanin ranks second with a fortune of $29.7 billion. The third position is held by V. Alekperov with a fortune of 29.5 billion euros. These individuals are also influential businessmen playing a significant role in the Russian economy.
