Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that steps are being taken to strengthen relations with the US, emphasizing the enhancement of communication and coordination between the two countries.
According to the president, for this purpose, she has instructed Foreign Minister Juan Ramon de la Fuente to hold a meeting with the US Secretary of State if the need arises.
Sheinbaum noted that a joint working group is operating between Mexico and the US, and full information exchange is being conducted within the framework of existing cooperation.
According to her, the sharing of information in the security sector, including data on seized laboratories, serves to further strengthen coordination between the two countries.
The Mexican president added that this process is continuing based on existing mechanisms and that deepening mutual cooperation is one of the main priorities.
