As discussions on resolving the Ukraine conflict continue, the Russian side once again expressed its firm stance. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated that they would not accept NATO's participation as a peacekeeping force in Ukraine or such security guarantees.

Redaksiya reports that Medvedev published his statement on his social media account. He noted that Russia firmly rejects the presence of NATO military personnel in Ukraine or the security guarantees proposed by the West. Medvedev also emphasized that Russia's principled position on this issue will not change. This statement can be regarded as a significant message in the ongoing negotiations for the resolution of the conflict.

The Russian official also commented on the West's offer of security guarantees to Ukraine. He stressed that such guarantees pose a direct threat to Russia's security and are unacceptable. Medvedev also stated that the deployment of NATO military personnel in Ukrainian territory would further increase tensions and lead to a deeper conflict. These statements indicate that the strained relations between Russia and the West continue, and the prospects for resolving the conflict remain dim for now.
