A legal dispute between Paris Saint-Germain and its former star Kylian Mbappe has entered a new phase. This is generating significant interest in both the football world and financial circles. According to Redaksiya, following a Paris labor court ruling in December 2025, the Paris club has an eight-day period to complete payments to Mbappe. Based on the court's decision, the total amount the club owes the player is 60.9 million euros. Of this sum, 55 million euros are for unpaid wages and bonuses, while 5.9 million euros are allocated for vacation pay and interest.
PSG has so far only transferred the principal amount, which is 55 million euros, but has refused to pay the remaining balance. Due to this partial non-payment, the court has given the club an eight-day deadline to finalize the payment. Otherwise, Mbappe's lawyers will be authorized to directly seize the club's bank accounts. This situation marks the lowest point in the relationship between the player and the team he called home for seven seasons.
Although PSG is attempting to justify the non-payment of interest, the player's legal team is determined to enforce the ruling.
