Hungary's newly elected Prime Minister Peter Maqyar has announced that Hungary is ready to open 90 billion euros in aid for Ukraine. According to him, the relevant decision was made back in December at the European Council summit. At this meeting, the European Union countries agreed to provide a loan to Ukraine.

The editorial office reports that initially, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia were not supposed to participate in this financing. However, Budapest's position later changed, influencing the situation. Maqyar criticized Viktor Orban, emphasizing that his stance on key European Union issues has repeatedly changed.

Maqyar stated, "I don't understand why this decision should be changed. Viktor Orban's position constantly changes: first he supports decisions, then he rejects them." He added that Hungary will not financially participate in the loan itself due to its difficult financial situation. He attributed this situation to the current government's economic policy.
