According to information, this campaign is linked to corruption scandals that have occurred in both Ukraine and Belgium. Critics believe that the distribution of European Union funds is not transparent, which is increasing dissatisfaction in member states.
Official Budapest justifies its position by stating that Hungary's national interests should be prioritized above all else, and taxpayers' money should primarily be spent on socio-economic projects within the country.
