Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow has no plans to attack Europe and is not interested in such a move. According to him, Russia will only take retaliatory measures if a necessity arises, and this response will not be limited in scope.

Citing NTV, the editorial board reports that Lavrov noted in an interview on the "Weekly Summaries" program: "We are not planning to attack any part of Europe, we are not interested in that at all. However, if Europe suddenly starts attacking Russia, as the president also said, it will not be a special military operation on our part, but a full-scale military response using all available military means."

The minister emphasized that Russia's position is defensive and is based on the principle of an adequate reaction to any threat to the country's security. In his opinion, Russia is not interested in increasing tensions in Europe and is trying to avoid confrontation.

Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told the "Izvestiya" publication that Europe has not yet responded to Moscow's proposal to sign a document providing legal guarantees that Russia will not attack Europe. According to Grushko, Europe's stance effectively excludes significant participation in the peace process.
