Ayman Ode, a member of the Israeli parliament, was removed from the hall for protesting during US President Donald Trump's speech in the Knesset. The MP attempted to interrupt Trump's speech by holding up a sign that read “Recognize Palestine”.
Redaksiya reports that Ayman Ode stated after the incident, “I merely voiced a demand that the international community has agreed upon: Recognize the state of Palestine.” The expulsion of the MP from the hall caused a significant stir in Israeli politics.
During the incident, security personnel intervened with Ode and removed him from the plenary session. Trump continued his speech after a break and stated that the Gaza peace plan was a “historic turning point” for Israel.
