Consequently, the logistics and service centers of the mentioned carrier group in the Red Sea are considered targets for the Iranian armed forces.
According to Redaksiya, citing the source, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced in a statement released on March 12 that a fire had occurred on the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier. The statement specified that the fire that occurred was "not related to combat operations."
Later, satellite images showed the ship arriving in the Red Sea, near the port of Jeddah. Against the backdrop of these events, Iran's position raises the possibility of increased tension in the region.
